Here’s what AIChecker.my can do, how to use it, and what its results mean.
Can the score prove someone used AI?
No. AI detectors can mistake human writing for AI writing and can miss text that was produced or edited with AI. Don’t use a score by itself to make important decisions about a person or their work.
Is the checker free?
Yes. You can check text for free on AIChecker.my.
Can I make a LinkedIn-style profile photo?
Yes. Open the AI Professional Profile Photo Generator, upload a clear portrait, choose a background, and generate one professional headshot. The photo is sent to Replicate for processing; AIChecker does not save it. Download your result soon because the provider removes API prediction files after about an hour. The feature is limited to 20 generations per day across the service.
Which languages work best?
The model used by this checker is designed for English. Results for Bahasa Melayu, Chinese, or other languages may be unreliable.
Is AI Meeting Recorder available?
It is temporarily paused while we work on making recording and transcription faster and more reliable. The paused page does not access your microphone or create new transcripts. Transcripts you previously saved remain in this browser on this device unless its site data has been cleared; they are not synced to an account. Read the Privacy Notice for details.
Which files can I upload?
You can upload TXT, Markdown (MD), CSV, DOCX, or PDF files. Select up to 10 files at a time, with a 10 MB limit per file and a 25 MB combined limit. The extracted text must fit within the checker’s 1,000-word and 12,000-character limits.
Are scanned PDFs supported?
No. The checker can read selectable text in a PDF, but it does not run OCR on scanned pages or images.
When are my files and text sent to the service?
Files are read in your browser to extract their text. The extracted text is sent for analysis only after you choose “Check text.” PDF reading uses the PDF.js library loaded from cdnjs. Read our Privacy Notice for details about processing and service providers.
Does AIChecker.my save the text I check?
To show recent checks, this browser stores up to 100 checked texts and their results in its local IndexedDB storage. They stay on this device and are not saved in an AIChecker server database or synced to another device. Use “Clear history” in the sidebar to remove them. Your text is also sent to the service for analysis when you choose “Check text”; requests pass through Cloudflare. See the Privacy Notice for details.
How much text can I check?
Enter at least 80 characters and no more than 1,000 words or 12,000 characters. If you upload files, their extracted text is combined and counts toward those limits.
Can I access recent checks on another device?
No. Free recent checks are stored only in the current browser. Sign-in and synced account history are not available yet.
What should I do with a high or low score?
Treat it as one clue for a closer review. Consider the context, drafts, sources, and the writer’s process. A score alone cannot establish authorship.
